Celebration Party

The Thankyou Party that had been arranged for 29th September at The Rose Inn turned out to be a Celebration Party.

Jim thanked everyone for their efforts over the year and said that they could be very proud of themselves for what had been achieved.

When asked whether they would like to rest on their laurels or continue to improve their was unanimous approval for carrying on.

Jim and Ann were surprised to receive a gift from the Bloomer Group in recognition of their work. It was most appreciated.

The cake was cut and consumed but the photographer forget to get a picture of it first.

Nathan was kind enough to donate three bottles of prosecco for the best volunteers but it was decided there were more than three so it should be shared at the next work day.

In amongst all the celebrations there was some serious planning and volunteers signed up to look after beds and containers in the coming year. Some new ideas for the new year were suggested.
