Jaguar Land Rover Bank

On April 10, 11, 12 volunteers from Jaguar Land Rover Joined with residents of Baxterley to work on the bank along the JLR site in Main Road. The plan was to install wooden sleepers and infill with soil to give good bed for wild flower plants that would be added later. In fact some friends of Baxterley in Bloom brought along wild flowers to be planted on the day.

There were six volunteers on each day and they worked hard all day, and indeed did some extra jobs as they went along. The donkey cart container was moved as its site was required for further development. Also new beds were started in The Orchard.

Each day lunch was provided at very reasonable cost by The Rose Inn.
