Winter Bedding
On 23rd October the summer bedding that had impressed to judges was past its best and was replaced by winter bedding to give a good show in the spring.
All the annuals were removed and put in Compost Corner to rot down. Pelargoniums were kept aside to be over-wintered in a greenhouse for next year.
Violas, bellis daisies, tete a tete daffodils, and primulas, many of which had been saved from last year, were planted.
13 people turned out, plus one who was not available who did some planting a few days later. There was also one volunteer for future planting. Well done to all.
