Skittles Evening

22nd March saw a skittles evening at The Rose Inn to raise funds for Baxterley in Bloom.

Chris Stevens sold tickets and organised the teams and prizes. Seven teams of six took part and the Sunflowers triumphed with the Bluebells picking up the wooden spoon.

Ann Pearson was the individual winner. Lionel Davis and Diane Shakespeare had a bowl off for last place and Diane "triumphed". Sandra Keeling outlasted everyone to win the Round Robin.

There was also a quiz and a raffle and the event succeeded in Raising £181.50.
