Bowls Club

For several years a few members of the Bowls Club have been putting in efforts to brighten up the bowling area. They have had good success and some of the planting is now coming to maturity. They choose plants to encourage butterflies and other insects. They have installed several bird boxes and have a wood pile to give homes to insects and other wildlife. This year they have installed tanks to collect rain water which is used to irrigate the green and plants in dry weather making a saving on mains water.
