Painting

It was suggested that a painting on the boarded up bay window of the Institute would add colour to the Village. Merevale Estate was approached and permission was given, but they reserved the right to paint over it if it caused too much negative feedback.

Julie Stacey used acrylic paint to create a picture of the sun rising over a field of flowers. The design was inspired by an original painting by Yvonne Coomber.
