Winter Bedding

Saturday 20th October was the day for replacing all of the summer bedding with plants to survive the winter and give a good show in the spring.

Viola, Bellis Daisies and Primulas, many saved from last year, were planted in the containers and beds around the Village.

Geraniums and Salvia Amistad were saved and installed in greenhouse for the winter, as were dahlia tubers. The rest were put in Compost Corner to rot down for use next year.
